Tips to Avoid Pending.

Don’t let a pending status slow you down. Make sure your customers’ application goes through the first time, every time. Here are a few points that can contribute to a delay in processing:

  • Changes to the original contract not initialed by customer
  • Serial numbers not included or inaccurate
  • Customer signatures missing or signed incorrectly
  • Credit applications not received, received but without a signature, or received with different signatures from the contract
  • Dealer signature not signed in all appropriate places
  • Both customer and dealer signatures provided, but not signed by authorized person with decision-making title
  • Incomplete insurance information, including lack of signature

Use these guidelines, take a few minutes to do a final review, and you’ll alleviate those pesky pending situations. You’ll invest less of your time in unwanted phone calls and chasing down customers. More importantly, your funds will get to you faster.
